KEY BISCAYNE - MARCH 2018

Yesterday was another day in paradise. I drove down to Islamorada to view the devastation from Hurricane Irma.  What I saw was kind of a mixed bag - large numbers of homes, stores, buildings completely devastated and abandoned directly across the street from, or next door to, new construction.

I was also slightly disappointed that the entire area has become much more tacky and generic tourist focused - hard to tell whether I was in the sport fishing capital of America or Revere Beach.

But, I did enjoy a delicious lunch at a local landmark, The Morada Bay Club.  

Yesterday's blizzard in the Boston area dumped upwards of two feet of snow in many areas.  Stonehill College was closed so I didn't go into work.  Instead, I went to lunch with my brother, here -

On Monday night, we went to dinner at Nobu in Miami Beach - always a great meal and fun experience.
